MILFORD, CT - Kathleen (Kathy) Gahagan, age 69, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 10, 2020, after battling acute myeloid leukemia (AML), at St. Raphael’s Hospital in New Haven with her youngest daughter Jackie by her side.

She was born May 23, 1950, in Rochester, NY, to the late Donald and Mary (Brophy) Foley. She was a 1968 graduate of Bishop Kearney High School and a 1972 graduate of the College of White Plains. She resided in Milford, CT for 27 years and was a resident of Sparta and Madison, NJ for the last 10 years of her life. She worked as a clinical trial coordinator for 29 years in the study management department at Bayer Pharmaceuticals and made many friendships during that time.

Kathy truly lived life to the fullest through adventure, travel, new experiences, spending time with her daughters and their families, and with her many friends. Kathy aimed for constant fun in her life. She is survived by her two daughters, Maggie Rylski (Scott) of Clermont, FL and Jackie Haffey (Drew) of Waterford, CT; four grandsons, Cole and Ryan Rylski, Griffin and Spencer Haffey; sister, Eileen Foley of Severna Park, MD; sister, Patricia Foley of Savannah, GA; brother, Mike Foley (Susan) of Lincoln, NE; sister, Teri Sciarabba (Tony) of Rochester, NY; brother, Tom Foley (Rosa) of West Haven, CT; brother, Bob Foley of Concord, NC and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her brother, Daniel Foley of Rochester, NY.
