Obituary: Mari Paquette, 69, Formerly Of Milford

Mari Louise Paquette, 69, of West Haven, passed away peacefully on January 30, 2023. She was born on September 6, 1953 in New London, CT to the late Henry and Olga Paquette.

Mari grew up on Walnut Street in Milford with her parents and her sister Maureen. She had many fond memories that she often shared about her neighborhood friends on Walnut Street and the beautiful Milford duck pond green. Mari attended Orange Avenue Elementary School and Milford High School, graduating class of 1971. She had a mind for organization and numbers, making her a skilled bookkeeper professionally.

Mari was a single working mother who had three children, Jennifer (Derik DelCegno) Costello, Christopher Costello and the late Rebecca Anne Hantover. After retiring, Mari kept herself busy with buying, rehabbing and selling homes in southern Connecticut.

Mari had a great love for cats, gardening, and her lake home in Enfield, CT. She enjoyed dining and spending time with friends and family and most of all visiting with her 3 granddaughters Olivia, Pia, and Isabella who she loved and adored very much.

Family and friends are invited to gather on Saturday, February 4, 2023 from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Cody-White Funeral Home 107 Broad Street, Milford, CT 06460. Interment will be private.
