Obituary: Ralph P. Angelo Jr., 93, of Milford
Ralph, a devoted family man and avid country music fan, worked as a self-employed landscaping contractor for many years.
MILFORD, CT - (From West Haven Funeral Home) Ralph P. Angelo Jr., age 93, of Milford passed away peacefully with family by his side on August 20, 2021.
He was the loving husband of the late Carol Grant Angelo. Ralph was born in Milford, son of the late Ralph Sr. and Maria Rosano Angelo.
He is survived by his children Michael (Cathy) Angelo, Rosemary Hayden, Ralph (Susan) Angelo III (WHPD Detective Lt, Retired), and Keith Angelo.
He leaves 18 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by children, Margaret DeFrancesco, John Angelo, and Charlene Guzley, his brothers and sisters, and 3 grandchildren; Ralph IV, Rosie, and Leslie.
Prior to his retirement, Ralph was a self-employed landscaping contractor. He loved spending time with his family, and had a life-long love affair with country music.
He always had a song in his heart, played guitar and sang at every family gathering. He instilled his love of music in his children who will forever sing his songs.
Visitation will be held on Thursday morning from 9-10:30am at the West Haven Funeral Home at the Green.
Interment will follow in Kings Highway Cemetery.
