Walter “Jim” J. Glifort Jr., 73, of Milford, passed away on January 28, 2023. Born on October 4, 1949 in Greenwich, he was the son of the late JoAnn Glifort-Linquist and Walter J. Glifort Sr.
Jim was a graduate of the University of New Haven as well as a proud Veteran of the United States Air Force. He loved the 8 years he spent in the Air Force and would reminisce over his time stationed in Turkey. He had a love for cinema and enjoyed spending his time re-watching classic films and shows.

Jim was predeceased by his brother, Thomas Glifort, and his sister, Donna Glifort. Jim leaves behind his siblings, Phyllis (Michael) Zilinski and Ronald Glifort Sr.; nephews, Jonathan Zilinski, Thomas Zilinski, and Ronald (Kristen) Glifort Jr.; niece, Kelly (Ryan) Bain; grandnieces, Laela, Vivianna, Paitynn, and Delaney; grandnephews, Owen and Ryan Jr.; and beloved god-dog, Eddie.
He was reunited in heaven with his cat Zeus who predeceased him.
