Rapidly Expanding, Unique Food Hall Delivery Chain Charts Milford Opening

MILFORD, CT — Wonder, a unique food hall delivery chain with locations in Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Rhode Island, is expanding to Milford.

The Milford location will be at 1686 Boston Post Road and will open in July, according to the company's website.

Wonder offers, "Lightning-fast food delivery, takeout, and dine-in from iconic restaurants, all in one place. Order multiple restaurants at once for lunch and dinner."

The chain is also opening a Darien location at 1897 Boston Post Road.

Utilizing a "hub and spoke" model, food ordered from a Wonder storefront is initially prepared at an offsite, central production facility. The food is then transported to Wonder storefronts where it's then sold to customers "following a strict process of final preparation on-site."

Diners can order from the Wonder website or mobile app. The company says meals are prepared fresh and delivered in under 35 minutes on average. Third-party delivery services are not used. Pick-up and limited dine-in options are also available.

Wonder also partners with "world-renowned chefs" like Bobby Flay, Marcus Samuelsson and José Andrés. It also allows diners to order from "multiple award-winning restaurants" like DiFara Pizza out of Brooklyn and Tejas BBQ from Dallas all in one place.

Wonder is rapidly expanding and lists 17 locations coming soon on its website. Many of the new stores will be in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and New York.

Recently two locations opened in Stamford and Fairfield, marking the chain's expansion into Connecticut.
