From The Office of CT State Rep. Staneski: State Rep. Pam Staneski (Milford & Orange) helped celebrate Special Education Day which was sponsored by the Connecticut Special Education PTO Alliance at the State Capitol today.

This year’s event featured a special guest -- Rookie-of-the-Year racecar driver Devin O’Connell, who announced his new “Champion Challenge” to help young people overcome personal challenges. The program also included unified music, robotics and a special art display from the American School for the Deaf.

Rep. Staneski said, "It is always an honor to talk to and witness the advocacy of this group, but more important to me is to be a part of the 'yes I can' message that filled the room. It is incumbent on us to promote an educational system that allows all children to achieve their full potential."
