Supplies Needed For Pet Food Bank In Milford

The Milford Animal Control is in need of supplies for its pet food bank, which is run solely on donations.

MILFORD, CT — The Milford Animal Control is in need of supplies for its pet food bank, according to police.

“Milford Animal Control runs a pet food bank to help residents having trouble feeding their pets,” police wrote in a news release. “This food bank is run solely on generous donations from the public. They are requesting that you help us help your neighbors by donating pet food, toys, treats, old blankets and litter. They are currently really low on both wet and dry cat and kitten food.”

Items can be brought to the Milford Animal Control, 664 East Broadway, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday. The animal control is located in Silver Sands State Park, with an entrance located on Meadowside Road.
