Veteran Parking Only Spaces Unveiled At Milford Government Center
The City of Milford unveiled two "Veteran Parking Only" spaces as a small gesture to thank the community heroes for their service.

MILFORD, CT — It is a simple but meaningful gesture to honor veterans who served in the United States Armed Forces.
The city of Milford has recently unveiled two parking spaces reserved for veterans at the Parsons Government Center parking lot. The parking spaces were made possible after Judge Ben Gettinger approached Mayor Richard Smith with the idea of securing two parking spaces for veterans.
Through a prepared statement, Milford staff said while the city will never be able to repay the debt to the community heroes, this is a small gesture to thank them for their service and for preserving freedom.
