2 New Additions To Mohegan Sun Dining Scene Open Next Week

UNCASVILLE, CT — Sift Bake Shop and A.T.Y. Bar & Bonbons are opening at Mohegan Sun and will celebrate with a ribbon-cutting Tuesday.

Sift Bake Shop is a family-owned French bakery created by pastry chef Adam Young and his wife, Ebbie, featuring a wide variety of artisanal breads, breakfast pastries, and decadent desserts made from scratch and in-house, plus a selection of coffees, lattes and beverages.

Next to Sift Bake Shop is A.T.Y. Bar & Bonbons, which is described in a statement from the casino as "a boutique cocktail bar that features signature cocktails, bonbons and confections that are crafted from the highest quality ingredients."

Sift Bake Shop also has locations in Mystic, Niantic, and Watch Hill, Rhode Island. A.T.Y. Bar & Bonbons has an original location in Mystic as well.

The two new shops will open in the casino's Winter Entrance across from Chick-Fil-A. Previously, Carlo's Bakery closed at the end of last year to make way for the new establishments.

Popular Bakery To Open Niantic Store

Sift Bake Shop lists hours of 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday to Thursday and Friday and Saturday 8 a.m. to midnight. A.T.Y. Bar & Bonbons is open daily from 2 p.m. to midnight, according to Mohegan Sun's website.

The ribbon-cutting will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. Speakers at the ceremony include Young and Mohegan Sun President & General Manager Jeff Hamilton. There will also be representation from the Mohegan Tribal Council.

Mohegan Sun, located on 185 acres along the Thames River, is one of the largest entertainment, gaming, dining and shopping destinations in the United States.
