Celebrate National Trails Day in Montville
Montville residents of all ages can do Letterboxing to celebrate the event.

Reconnect with nature in Montville with a treasure hunt on National Trails Day!
Montville will be marking the national event with letterboxing on Sunday according to the Connecticut Forest and Parks Association pamphlet.
The event is from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Camp Oakdale. This is a family event for all ages. There will be boxes waiting to be found for all skill levels. Come anytime during the event hours at your convenience. Stay to find one or all, then spend some time at the park and enjoy your lunch. Bring plenty of water, lunch, and a compass and/or letterbox kit if you have them.

A total of 152 Connecticut towns will be celebrating National Trails Day on June 1 and 2, according to the Connecticut Forest & Park Association.
