Issues with dirt bikes seem to be a common theme lately. Whether it’s our town or local towns, police departments and citizens have been having issues with them trespassing and operating in places they shouldn’t be.
Lately, we’ve been receiving complaints about this dirt bike, specifically in The Manor. We’re looking for help in identifying the rider to educate them on proper places to ride. This dirt bike is not street legal, the operator has been driving recklessly, and on two occasions fled from officers trying to conduct a traffic stop.

“Give us a place to ride” is the biggest complaint from the dirt bike community. While we don’t disagree, there are a few ways that you can find a place to ride legally. You could buy your own land, register your bike and ride Pachaug State Forest Trails, or knock on some doors and get permission to ride on other peoples property.
Riding on property without permission is a form of trespassing and off road vehicles like these damage peoples property. Most dirt bikes are not street legal which causes safety issues while operating on the street.
