Lucky Winner Scores $2 Million Jackpot At Mohegan Sun
The player made a $5 side bet when they hit the massive jackpot recently, which was one of the biggest ever at the casino.
UNCASVILLE, CT — A player at Mohegan Sun struck it rich Wednesday, winning $2,018,742, according to a statement from the resort casino.
The prize was at a Spanish 21 table in Casino of the Earth. The lucky player was playing the optional $5 Bonus Spin Xtreme side bet and spun Triple Diamonds when they won.
"Not only is this the biggest jackpot win at Mohegan Sun in 2025, but it also ranks among the top five largest table game payouts ever at Mohegan Sun," according to the casino's statement.

Another player from Bridgeport won $211,079 playing Dollar Storm in Casino of the Sky on Sunday.
A third big winner was playing Railroad Riches on Monday when they won $115,266. Both of those prizes were won in the casino's Hold & Spin Slot Zone.

In 2024, Mohegan Sun rolled out this new slot area in Casino of the Sky, which is home to more than 250 slot games with the Hold & Spin bonus feature.
