Man Arrested On Multiple Charges In Montville; Held On $1 Million Bond

A man was arrested on 12 active warrants Thursday, police said.

MONTVILLE, CT — A man was arrested in Montville on 12 active warrants and held on $1 million bond, according to police.

Police spotted Jake Pendergast, 33, on Thursday morning traveling north on Route 32 in the area of the Norwich town line.

Police conducted a motor vehicle stop. Pendergast initially provided police with a false identity, according to police.

Police later confirmed his identity and took Pendergast into custody.

He was charged with four counts of first-degree failure to appear in court, seven counts of second-degree failure to appear in court, two counts of fourth-degree larceny, fifth-degree larceny, criminal impersonation, interfering with an officer, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, and operating a motor vehicle without a license.

He was held on $1 million and scheduled to appear in Norwich Superior Court on Sept. 5.
