Man Assaulted Victim In Robbery Attempt At Uncasville Bus Stop: PD

A man was held on $100,000 bond after police say he assaulted and injured a victim in a robbery attempt at a bus stop.

MONTVILLE, CT — A man is accused of assaulting a victim in an attempted robbery at an Uncasville bus stop, according to police.

The crime occurred at the SEAT bus stop on Route 32 on March 20.

The suspect tried to rob the victim of cash and assaulted the victim, resulting in minor injuries.

Police identified Michael Flowers, 56, of Uncasville, as a suspect. He was taken into custody Wednesday.

Flowers was charged with third-degree criminal attempt at robbery, second-degree strangulation, second-degree unlawful restraint, third-degree assault, and criminal impersonation.

His bond was set at $100,000, and he was scheduled to appear in Norwich Superior Court on Wednesday.
