Man Killed In Crash On I-395 In Montville, State Police Say
An ID of the driver killed has been released by state police.

MONTVILLE, CT β A Higganum man was killed in a one-vehicle crash on Saturday morning, state police said.
At 7 a.m. Saturday, Troop E responded to exit 6 on I-395 in Montville for a one-vehicle crash.
A 2006 Subaru Legacy driven by Edward M. Mascola, 50, of Burr Road, crashed into the metal beam guard rail face in the center median and then the guard rail in the right shoulder before colliding with the center median concrete barrier and then coming to a complete stop, state police said.

Mascola was taken to a hospital, where he later died, state police said.
The crash is under investigation.
