Montville Drivers Beware: DUI Checkpoint Coming Up
Police will conduct sobriety checkpoints later this month.
MONTVILLE, CT — DUI checkpoints are scheduled in Montville this month.
Police will be conducting the checkpoints May 30.
The checkpoints will be "concentrating on high traffic roadways such as Route 85, Route 32 and Route 163," police said in a Facebook post.

The checks will occur between 5 p.m. May 30 and 4 a.m. May 31.
"The purpose of the checkpoint is to further educate the motoring public and strengthen the public's awareness to the need of detecting and removing those motorists who operate under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs from our roadways," police said in a statement.
