Montville Police To Conduct DUI Checkpoints: Here's When, Where
Montville police will be conducting sobriety checkpoints this week.
MONTVILLE, CT β Police announced they will be conducting sobriety checkpoints in various locations in Montville on Thursday, including high-traffic areas like Route 85, Route 32, and Route 163.
The checks will be from 5 p.m., Thursday to 4 a.m., Friday.
Police said in a release: "The purpose of the checkpoint is to further educate the motoring public and strengthen the public's awareness of the need of detecting and removing those motorists who operate under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs from our roadways."
