Montville Police Interrupt Active Larceny From Car

During the weekend blizzard, Montville Police were conducting neighborhood patrol when they came upon an active larceny.

Montville Police were conducting overnight neighborhood patrol checks at approximately 1 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 24, on Old Colchester Road in the Dubios/Gay/Sharp Hill area, when they chanced upon an illegal act.

Two people were allegedly engaged in an active larceny from a motor vehicle, the Montville CT Police Department said via Facebook.

“The accused individuals fled the area, however, after a brief search, two suspects were located and subsequently arrested,” police said. “The Montville Police Department would like to remind residents and the general public, if you see something suspicious, please report it to the police.”
