Oakdale Woman Identified As Victim In I-95 Crash, State Police Say

MONTVILLE, CT — An Oakdale woman is dead following an accident on I-95 in Westbrook on Friday, according to state police.

The crash happened around 9:25 a.m. Friday on I-95 South near Exit 65 in Westbrook, according to police.

Police said a 2016 Isuzu NRR truck being driven by Isabella R. Butzgy rear-ended a tractor-trailer.

Butzgy, 22, of Oakdale, was pronounced dead, according to police.

The accident remains under investigation.

The accident came on the heels of a major multi-vehicle crash. That crash was also on I-95 in Westbrook earlier Friday morning and left one man dead.
