MONTVILLE, CT — A Montville eight-unit condominium building was shut down last week and remaining residents had to leave their homes, according to The Day.

The condominium association will likely opt to demolish the building rather than repair it. Unsafe conditions and sanitation issues required that the building be vacated.

Gas to the building was shut off in August and the majority of residents had moved out before the notice to vacate was given last week.
