Jeffrey Meade Clark, 70, of Uncasville, passed away peacefully surrounded by family after an extended illness on May 2, 2013.
Jeff was born in Stratford, on March 29, 1943, the son of James D. and Beryl Clark. He was the eldest of five. His siblings were Lynda Larson, Bruce Clark, Christopher Clark (predeceased), and Melissa Whitman. Jeff graduated from Frank Scott Bunnell High School in 1962, and then entered the U.S. Air Force, serving almost four years as an airplane mechanic. He greatly enjoyed many hobbies and activities, including West Coast Swing Dancing, gardening, history, classic truck restoration, exploring his Scandinavian heritage, and sharing that love with his family, particularly at holidays with Scandinavian foods. Jeff's primary passion later in life was collecting and sharing blues music. He was also very proud of his 39 years of sobriety.
