A Connecticut resident purchased a lottery ticket at a Waterbury business and won "$25,000 a year for life," according to the CT Lottery.

WATERBURY, CT — A Waterbury resident is $25,000 richer after purchasing a winning lottery ticket at an area business, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

On Monday, a Wolcott resident purchased a winning "Lucky for Life" ticket at Store 40 in Waterbury and won "$25,000 a year for life," according to the Connecticut Lottery.

The CT Lottery furnishes winner information as public record.
