Pedestrian Dies After Being Struck By Vehicle In Waterbury: PD
The accident happened late Monday night, according to police.
WATERBURY, CT — A pedestrian was hit by a vehicle Monday night and later died due to his injuries, according to police.
Sgt. Joseph Morais said the accident happened around 10:47 p.m. in the area of 581 Chase Ave.
The 36-year-old male pedestrian sustained serious head injuries, according to police.

Emergency personnel rushed the man to a local area hospital, where he died, police said. Police did not yet release the man’s identity.
The driver remained on scene, according to police.
