NAUGATUCK--Naugatuck's incinerator at the Cherry Street Extension wastewater treatment plant is shut down.The federal Environmental Protection Agency shuttered the borough's incinerator due to a missed deadline to upgrade the plant and reduce pollution, <a href="http://www.rep-am.com/articles/2016/04/19/news/local/952039.txt" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">The Republican-American reports.</a>Naugatuck had until March 22 to fix the issue.
