• $3.65 million proposal for YMCA camp gets hearing in Naugatuck (registercitizen.com) — Naugatuck’s Zoning Commission has closed public hearings on a $3.65 million YMCA day camp proposal and is expected to vote at its Jan. 21 meeting. The 58-acre project off Rubber Avenue Extension would host about 300 children daily and include a pool, splash pad, event center, and community playscape, but neighbors have raised concerns about the planned entrance and potential runoff.
