Fight At Kennedy High In Waterbury Results In Arrests, Injuries: Police

One adult and three juveniles face charges, according to police.

WATERBURY, CT — A fight broke out at Kennedy High School Tuesday afternoon, resulting in arrests and minor injuries, according to police.

Lt. Ryan Bessette said the fight happened around 2:07 p.m. involving four males, including three juveniles and one adult.

Police officers and school staff promptly broke up the altercation, police said.

The adult, Jasiel Berrios, 19, of Waterbury, was charged with first-degree threatening and second-degree breach of peace.

All three juveniles were charged with second-degree breach of peace, and one of them was additionally charged with interfering with an officer.

One juvenile and one staff member received treatment for minor injuries they sustained during the incident, police said.
