Final Week Of Fall Curbside Leaf Collection Underway In Naugatuck

Naugatuck Public Works will be conducting the final week of fall curbside leaf collection this week.

NAUGATUCK, CT — Naugatuck Public Works will be conducting the final week of fall curbside leaf collection this week.

According to the department's Facebook page, all leaves must be placed curbside in brown paper bags on a resident's trash day.

Grass clippings, pine needles, hay, flowers and other soft yard waste material can also be placed in brown paper bags, according to Public Works.

The department also noted bagged leaves and other soft yard waste materials can also be brought to the Naugatuck Transfer Station on Thursdays and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at no charge.
