Gunshot Victim Dropped Off At Hospital In Waterbury: Police

The public is being asked to submit tips about the shooting, according to police.

WATERBURY, CT — A man suffering a gunshot wound was dropped off at Saint Mary’s Hospital emergency room Sunday afternoon, according to police.

The victim is listed in stable condition but sustained serious injuries, according to police spokesman Lt. Ryan Bessette.

The man was brought to the hospital around 2 p.m. Sunday.

Police believe the shooting happened in the area of Macauley Avenue and Pritchard Road.

Police are still investigating, and they hope the public will come forward with tips.
