Threat Against Middle School Deemed Not Credible: Naugatuck Police
A larger police presence will be on scene at City Hill Middle School for the remainder of the day, police said.

NAUGATUCK, CT β Police said at 11:15 a.m. they received a call that an armed person was on their way to City Hill Middle School.
Police and additional resources immediately responded to the area of the school and began investigating the threat, police said. Precautionary actions to ensure the safety and security of the school were also taken.
"At this time, the threat was found to not be credible and there is no threat to the community. A larger police presence will be on scene at City Hill Middle School for the remainder of the day," police said in an update.
