Man, 20, Injured In Shooting: Naugatuck Police
During the investigation, a crime scene was secured at a commuter lot, police said.
NAUGATUCK, CT — Police said they are investigating an early Sunday shooting, which led to one person being injured.
At around 3 a.m. Naugatuck Police began an investigation after learning of a 20-year-old man who had sustained a gunshot wound to his leg, police said. The injury was non-threatening, and the victim is currently being treated at an area hospital, police said.
During the investigation, a crime scene was secured at the Cross Street (Exit-25) commuter lot, police said. Detectives processed the scene for physical evidence into the day, police said. The investigation remains ongoing at this time. Any member of the public who has information is asked to contact Naugatuck Police.
