Man, 20, Injured In Shooting: Naugatuck Police

NAUGATUCK, CT — Police said they are investigating an early Sunday shooting, which led to one person being injured.

At around 3 a.m. Naugatuck Police began an investigation after learning of a 20-year-old man who had sustained a gunshot wound to his leg, police said. The injury was non-threatening, and the victim is currently being treated at an area hospital, police said.

During the investigation, a crime scene was secured at the Cross Street (Exit-25) commuter lot, police said. Detectives processed the scene for physical evidence into the day, police said.
