Man Injured In Waterbury Knife Attack: Police

The assault happened on Burton Street Monday night, according to police.

WATERBURY, CT — A man was injured with a knife in a dispute Monday night on Burton Street, police said.

The assault happened Monday around 8:21 p.m. at 25 Burton St., according to Lt. Ryan Bessette.

When police arrived, they found an adult male outside the residence suffering from a cut to his arm. Police said the man was wounded with a small pocket knife during a physical altercation with another man.

The second individual fled the scene prior to police arriving. The wounded man was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
