Man Killed In One-Car Crash In Naugatuck: Police
The accident happened this morning around 8:30 a.m., according to police.
NAUGATUCK, CT — A passenger involved in a one-vehicle crash on Gunntown Road Friday morning has died, according to police.
Police said the crash happened around 8:30 a.m., when a Kia Sedona minivan traveling northbound on Gunntown Road veered off the road and collided with a stone wall.
The adult male passenger was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced deceased, police said.

The adult male driver sustained minor injuries, according to police. Officials have not yet released the names of the two men involved in the crash.
The Naugatuck Valley Collision Investigation Team, which consists of area police departments, was activated and assumed the investigation, which is ongoing.

The road was temporarily closed Friday morning but reopened to traffic just before noon.
