Mariano Takes First Place in Division at Wodapalooza

The athletic event was held during the weekend of Jan. 11- 14 in Miami, Florida.

Brian Mariano, former Naugatuck athlete and current assistant principal and athletic director at Naugatuck High School, recently competed in a massive international CrossFit competition called Wodapalooza in Miami, Florida. Mariano took first place in the Men’s Open division.

Teams and individuals alike took to the competition floor for the 2024 Wodapalooza, which was held during the weekend of Jan. 11- 14.

The athletic event played host to a variety of divisions at 2024 Wodapalooza Miami. The Rx, Intermediate, and Open athletes attended in teams and as individuals in Bayfront Park to compete to become the best in their respective divisions.
