Motorist Hurt In Collision With School Bus In Waterbury: Police

WATERBURY, CT — A vehicle collided with a school bus which was transporting students to Rotella Interdistrict Magnet School Tuesday morning, according to police.

Lt. Ryan Bessette said the driver of the vehicle sustained minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

No one on the school bus was injured, police said.

The accident happened around 8:30 a.m. in the area of 571 Highland Ave.

The crash remains under investigation, according to police.
