Naugatuck Man Arrested in Connection with Sandy Hook Burglaries
Police said the case remains open with more charges expected.

NEWTOWN, CT— On July 29, 2016 at approximately 11:30 a.m., Lyle Solsbury, age 40, of Naugatuck, was arrested by Newtown Police Detectives at a hotel in Waterbury on an arrest warrant for committing a residential burglary in Newtown last Friday, police said.
Solsbury is being held at the Newtown Police Department on a $50,0000 bond, according to police and the case remains open with more charges expected. The Newtown Police Department had been searching for the suspect they say is involved in five Sandy Hook burglaries, according to a report. Police said the man is believed to have committed the residential burglaries on Thursday, July 21 and Friday, July 22, 2016.
One of the victim's homes had video surveillance which captured images of the suspect inside the home, police said.
