Naugatuck Man Sentenced To Serve Prison Time: Feds
A total of $122,000 in cash was found when law enforcement searched the man's home and car, federal officials said.
NAUGATUCK, CT — Husani Foote, 30, of Naugatuck, was sentenced to serve 120 months in prison followed by five years of supervised release, for trafficking narcotics, federal authorities said.
According to court documents and statements made in court, an investigation determined that Foote was trafficking narcotics in and around Waterbury, officials said.
Foote was arrested on related state charges on April 13, 2023. On that date, a court-authorized search of his Aetna Street residence and his vehicle parked in front of the residence revealed more than 34,000 baggies containing a mixture of fentanyl, heroin, and xylazine; approximately 160 grams of crack cocaine and six grams of powder cocaine; items used to process and package narcotics; a loaded 9mm handgun; and more than $122,000 in cash, federal authorities said.

On May 13, 2024, he pleaded guilty in federal court to possession with intent to distribute 40 grams or more of fentanyl.
