Naugatuck Man Stole Copper Gates From Local Cemetery: Police
Naugatuck police say the two incidents occurred back in June and July and an arrest was made this week.

Ryan McCarthy, 40, of 46 Lines Hill St., was arrested on Oct. 20 on an active warrant for a larceny complaint reported on June 9 .
McCarthy is accused of allegedly stealing a copper gate from the front entrance of Grove Cemetery worth $2,500, police said. He allegedly scrapped the gate at a scrap metal company.
Police say McCarthy allegedly came back and swiped another front gate from the cemetery worth $5,000, NBC Connecticut reports.

McCarthy was given a court date of Oct. 21 and was held on a $25,000 bond.
