Naugatuck, Waterbury Residents Upset About Amazon Facility Construction Noise: Report

Naugatuck and Waterbury residents recently raised concerns about the facility's construction work on the city line, according to a report.

WATERBURY, CT — Residents of Naugatuck and Waterbury raised concerns about the noisy construction of an Amazon warehouse facility currently being built on the city line during a meeting held Tuesday night in Waterbury, according to Fox 61.

Fox 61 reports concerns about blasting noise, damages to property, traffic and wetlands were brought up during the meeting. Waterbury Mayor Paul Pernerewski, who facilitated questions from residents and development company Blue Water, sympathized with residents but said their frustrations would hopefully be short-lived.
