Naugatuck's Holy Savior National Catholic Church Hosts Health and Safety Day

The event will be held on Saturday, May 30 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Children are encouraged to bring their bikes.

Holy Savior National Catholic Church, located at 118 Prospect Street in Naugatuck, is hosting a Health and Safety Day on Saturday, May 30 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Naugatuck police will be there to teach children about bike safety, inspect installation of child safety car seats and provide identification kits for children. Children are encouraged to bring their bikes.

The Community Outreach Program of Griffin Hospital will have on-site their Mobile Health Resource Van providing stroke risk assessments since May is Stroke Awareness Month.

They will provide other health assessments as well and activities for children to learn about medication safety.
