Obituary: Ann L. Piccirillo, 67, of Naugatuck

NAUGATUCK, CT - (After a courageous battle with cancer, Ann L. Piccirillo, age 67 of Naugatuck, passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2022 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Waterbury, CT.

Born on May 25, 1954 in Bridgeport, daughter of the late Joseph and Emily (Yacko) Leskovsky, she was a resident of Naugatuck since 1977.

Prior to her illness, Ann worked at Precision Aerospace in Seymour where she was an Office Manager.

Survivors include her beloved daughters, Amy Laggis and her husband Joseph and Alyssa Piccirillo, and her devoted sister, Ellen Fazio and her husband John Callan.

Ann loved ALL animals and a special part of her heart belonged to her beloved grand-dog Chasey Boy.

She was a strong-willed woman who did things her own way most of the time, wait…it was ALL of the time. We wouldn’t have her any other way.

She always was one for doing things for others, whether it be crocheting a blanket for a friend, or making a delicious dinner.

She loved relaxing on the weekends, especially in the pool during summer.

In addition to enjoying the sun, she loved watching a good John Wayne movie, watching a golf tournament with her main guy (Rickie Fowler), and playing a game of cards.

Perhaps most of all, Ann always loved going to Mohegan Sun, and for one reason or another, always disliked coming home.

Funeral services are private and have been entrusted to the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford.
