Pedestrian Killed In Overnight Crash: Waterbury Police

The driver, who was not hurt, remained at the scene, police said, and the crash is under investigation.

WATERBURY, CT — A pedestrian was killed in an overnight crash in Waterbury, according to police.

Officers responded shortly after 10 p.m. Saturday to the 800 block of East Main Street for a report of a person hit by a vehicle, police said. The pedestrian, a man, suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.

The driver, who was not hurt, remained at the scene, police said, and the crash is under investigation.
