Arrest Made in Murder of Naugatuck Man: Report

Authorities in Connecticut and federal officers made an arrest in the murder case of a Naugatuck man.

NAUGATUCK, CT - After nearly three years, authorities announced they have made an arrest in the murder case of one local man.

New Haven Police and federal officers announced on Monday that they have arrested Jean Bruny, 24, of New York in connection with the 2013 murder of Torrance Dawkins of Naugatuck and Waterbury, The Republican-American reports.

Dawkins was shot to death in New Haven while celebrating his 22nd birthday with friends, The Republican-American reports.

He was shot execution style, according to police, The Republican-American reports.

Bruny, currently in prison on separate federal charges, is being held on $1 million bail, according to the report.
