Arline Best, 83, of Naugatuck: Arline was born in Waterbury and lived in Naugatuck all of her life. Arline enjoyed working at Coddington's on Meadow for many years and continued to drop by to visit her former customers long after she retired.

Theodore F. "Ted" Schultz, 92, of Naugatuck: Before his retirement from the Eastern Company as a pattern maker/carpenter, Ted worked on new home construction in Naugatuck and surrounding towns. He cherished his grandchildren and never missed a sporting event or activity.

Joseph A. Cortellino, 97, of Naugatuck: Before retiring, Joe worked as a chemical engineer at Uniroyal, Inc. For many years Joe enjoyed singing and dancing with the Naugatuck Kollege Kapers.

Maria Luisa Rebimbas Oliveira, 81, of Naugatuck: Maria lived in Naugatuck since 1967 and before retiring, she had worked at Uniroyal, Inc., Timex, Waterbury Neckwear and the Naugatuck Glass Company.

James MacDonald, 68, of Naugatuck: A longtime resident of Naugatuck, Jimmy retired from the City of Meriden as a Lab Technician, and had also worked for Carton Control in Cheshire and American Electro Products in Waterbury.

Maria A. Freire, 97, of Naugatuck: She lived in Naugatuck for almost 80 years and worked for 33 years at the footwear division of Uniroyal, Inc. Maria was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Clube Uniao Portuguesa in Naugatuck and a parishioner of St. Francis of Assisi Church.
