Shoplifting Leads To Discovery Of Warrants, 4 Arrests: Naugatuck PD
Police said a shoplifting reported at a Naugatuck grocery store led to the discovery of several outstanding warrants and four arrests.

NAUGATUCK, CT — A shoplifting reported Tuesday at a Naugatuck grocery store led to the discovery of several outstanding warrants and the arrests of four people, according to police.
In a news release, police said officers were called to a Stop and Shop store on Rubber Avenue around 5:30 p.m. after receiving a shoplifting complaint.
According to police, Jaclyn Kichar, 38 of Ansonia, is accused of shoplifting items and trying to leave the store in a car that was waiting for her.

Jamell Savage, 47, of Waterbury, Craig Kichar, 38, of Winchester and Danielle Dimeo, 38, of Winchester, were also found inside the car, according to police.
Officers were able to prevent the car from leaving the area, however two passengers fled from the vehicle and tried to run away but were caught after a brief foot pursuit, police said.

After further investigation, police found Dimeo and both Jaclyn and Craig Kichar had several outstanding warrants for their arrest, police said.
Jaclyn Kichar was charged with conspiracy to commit larceny, sixth-degree larceny, possession of a controlled substance and interfering with an officer.
Her bond was set at $5,000 and she is scheduled to appear in court next month. She was then released to the Shelton Police Department due to an arrest warrant, according to police.
Craig Kichar was charged with conspiracy to commit larceny, fifth-degree larceny and interfering with an officer. He was also charged with several outstanding failure to appear warrants, which he was held on, police said.
His bond was set at $5,000 and he is scheduled to appear in court later this month month, according to police.
Dimeo was charged with conspiracy to commit larceny, fifth-degree larceny, possession of a controlled substance, use of drug paraphernalia and interfering with an officer.
Her bond was set at $10,000 and she is scheduled to appear in court next month. She was then released to the Shelton Police Department due to an arrest warrant, according to police.
Savage was charged with conspiracy to commit larceny, released on a $5,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court next month, police said.
