'Untimely Death' Under Investigation: Naugatuck Police

There is no danger to the public, according to police.

NAUGATUCK, CT — Police are investigating an “untimely death” discovered Saturday night in Naugatuck, authorities said.

Officers responded around 9 p.m. to a report of a gunshot at a home on Goldfinch Lane, according to police. One person at the scene was found to be dead and another was taken to a hospital for injuries that were not life-threatening, police said.

There is no danger to the public, according to police.
