Waterbury Cops Seek Motorist In Hit And Run Involving Pedestrian: PD
The pedestrian was critically injured in the accident, according to police.
WATERBURY, CT — A motorist hit a pedestrian on Watertown Avenue early Saturday morning and fled the scene, police said.
Lt. Ryan Bessette said the accident happened Saturday around 3:28 a.m. in the area of 406 Watertown Ave.
Officers summoned to the scene found the adult male victim in the roadway.

Emergency medical personnel took the man to a local hospital, where he was listed in critical condition with life-threatening injuries, police said.
Police did not release the man’s name or details about the vehicle involved.

The Waterbury Police Department’s Crash Reconstruction Unit is investigating the accident.
