Waterbury Missing Child Report Has Happy Ending: Police

WATERBURY, CT — A toddler has been found safe after being reported missing Wednesday morning, police said.

Lt. Ryan Bessette said a report came in to police of a missing 2-year-old child.

The incident remains under investigation, police said on Facebook.

“We are still investigating the circumstances of this incident and information originally reported to us,” Bessette said, via email on Wednesday.

“However, it is believed the child was in their residence and never left,” Bessette said. “The child was located by police safely inside their residence with another adult caregiver.”
