Tires Slashed on Heritage Hill Road

Police say they don't have enough evidence to make an arrest; the victim told police he was in a dispute with a neighbor about parking.

A Heritage Hill Road resident told police on Thursday that early in the afternoon he found two of the tires on his motor vehicle slashed.

The man brought the vehicle to a Town Fair Tire shop, where he was told that his warrantee didn’t apply because the tires were deliberately slashed.

Heritage Hill Road is located here (the pin on the map is not meant to indicate where on the road the incident took place).

The victim had been in a dispute with a neighbor who objected to the spot the man parked on the street, near the neighbor’s garage door. The parking spot is legal, police said.

The neighbor said he didn’t slash the tires and had no involvement in the vandalism.
