Bank Opens New Branch In Newington

NEWINGTON, CT — M&T Bank Tuesday officially announced the opening of a new bank branch in Newington.

"The new branches are located in formerly vacant storefronts, breathing new life into the communities and providing residents with access to a range of financial services," reads an announcement by the bank.

The new branch is located at 1095 Main St. in Newington.

The bank had a ribbon-cutting celebrations in Newington Tuesday evening.

It was attended by M&T Bank leadership and staff, local elected officials and members of the community.

“We are thrilled to open these two new branches and provide our customers with even more convenient access to our services,” said Michael Weinstock, regional president of M&T Bank, speaking about Newington and another bank branch opening in Waterford. “These two locations will help us better serve both communities and provide our customers with the high-quality banking experience they deserve.”
