High-Intensity Fitness Chain Coming To Newington: Report
The Texas-based chain would reportedly occupy two empty plaza storefronts.
NEWINGTON, CT — A new fitness center reportedly will occupy two empty storefronts in a shopping plaza in Newington.
According to the Hartford Business Journal, F45 Training will soon open in the shopping plaza housing Stop & Shop at 44 Fenn Road, Newington.
F45 is a national chain out of Austin, Texas, specializing in "innovative, high-intensity group workouts that are fast, fun, and results-driven," according to F45's website.

The company's simple aim is to burn 750 calories per 45-minute workout, while the "F" stands for "functional," hence the name F45 Training, according to its website.
It has about 600 sites nationally in all states, with 11 sites in Connecticut, the nearest to Newington being in Avon, West Hartford and Glastonbury.
